Atalaya ANPR “Best view from top”

Atalaya is an auto-triggered camera to perform automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) of every vehicle simultaneously on 2 lanes and in real-time.

Atalaya is the first and unique ANPR camera that uses ultra-fast image sensors (250 FPS) and parallel computing processors (FPGA), with great advantages on performance, size, power consumption and cost of the solution.

As an all-in-one camera, Atalaya integrates the ultra-fast Mercury’Traffic license plate sensor, a high-power IR illuminator and a standard, open and programmable CPU. All these components are enclosed in a single IP66 housing, so no additional roadside equipment is required and the overall integration costs are reduced.

There are two models of the Atalaya. Atalaya Compact with the external infrared is suited for Highway and low lighting traffic conditions. The Atalaya Micro with its internal infrared is designed for urban applications where speeds are lower and lighting conditions are better.
