Chronos’Access is an advanced freeflow traffic control product based on high-speed license plate recognition technology. The product uses smart cameras of the family Atalaya, customized with software components to manage white and black lists of vehicles. The camera is software customized to add the functionality of access control by checking license plates to be into lists of target vehicles. The result of this check for every detected vehicle is transmitted to a central computer through TCP-IP protocol, where the control software can retrieve images using a set of functions in an SDK library. |
