MAR 2010: Intertraffic 2010

Imagsa exhibited its products and latest innovations at Intertraffic 2010, held on the RAI-Amsterdam from 23-26 March 2010.

At Intertraffic, Imagsa unveiled its portfolio of ANPR solutions. These range from self-contained and megapixel ANPR cameras capable of delivering vehicles' spot speed and their class, to a pioneer mobile ANPR camera to be easily installed into police vehicles.

The outcome of Imagsa's first participation at Intertraffic is very positive: different companies showed their interest on our approach for developing ANPR solutions based on high-speed image capture (250 fps) and real-time image analysis (FPGA).

 

FEB 2010: Imagsa Technologies featured at industry's magazine

Imagsa Technologies has been featured in the Enforcement section of the magazine ITS International, issue Nov/Dec 2009. The future of ANPR systems lies in introducing intelligence into the camera (i.e. a close interacion between the image sensor and the image processor, to achieve best performance).

 

SEP 2009: Imagsa unveils the Mercury' Traffic, a vehicle license plate image sensor

Mercury'Traffic is a custom implementation of Mercury'U to process road traffic and deliver high-quality images (in terms of resolution and sensitivity) of vehicle license plate. Therefore, with Mercury'Traffic the OCR software can really achieve high recognition rates (above 90%) under challenging environmental conditions. Mercury' Traffic is the technology core of the smart ALPR camera Atalaya.

 

DEC 2009: Imagsa Technologies joins AMEC urbis

The AMEC URBIS Association (Spanish Association of exporting manufacturers of equipment for the traffic sector) plays a fundamental role when it comes to supporting, promoting, training and starting out companies on the road to internationalisation. Of the various promotional tools, great importance is placed on participating in national and international trade-fairs, on organisation of direct sales missions, as well as on trips to Spain by buyers, decision-makers and institutional representatives.

Imagsa has exhibited its products and latest innovations on smart-cameras in Traffex, held on the NEC-Birmingham from 21-23 April 2009.

At Traffex, Imagsa has had the opportunity to explain its innovative plate detection technique which achieves full traffic analysis without external triggers and it gets best plate detection results and image quality independently of environmental and traffic conditions.
